Hello friends and family,

This summer, I am taking a class at UCF called "Women's and Gender Studies Program," and I have a service-learning assignment where I have to connect with the community and try to raise awareness. I chose the non-profit organization called "Animal Safehouse of Brevard," which helps foster and care for pets from domestic abuse survivors trying to get into a safer environment, so they don't have to leave their pets behind.

I chose to create a fundraiser with a small goal of $250. I know times are tough, but anything will help! I have to create a research paper as my final project in the class regarding this whole experience.
