The Mission:

Our mission is to rescue any species we can from situations of abuse, exploitation and certain death, and provide a high quality standard of animal care while we  give them a loving and peaceful forever home, in doing so, provide education to the public regarding animal rights and animal care.

With only 10 farm animal sanctuaries in the entire country of Mexico, we aim to give a much needed home to an array of species rescued from slaughter or abusive, neglectful and exploitative situations, or to rehabilitate and release wildlife we are able to help. 

In order to help us with the cost of care for the animals, we also offer Sanctuary Experiences to visiting guests, for something different than what we experience in our everyday world, we offer a quiet intimate experience with scheduled private tours and lunch, or an overnight stay in our on site studio with a fully plant based menu. We aim to give a peaceful space for people to privately come and enjoy time in nature and plant based food surrounded by safe and happy animals, inspiring the connection and respect between humans and non human animals, promoting a vegan lifestyle. 

We also offer plant based cooking classes to visitors interested in learning about the vegan lifestyle.

The animal care will always be the first and foremost priority at Black Sheep Retreat Sanctuary. High quality individual animal care and giving a loving and safe home to as many animals we can while ensuring all their needs are met and they live in peace and happiness, with the high quality care is our number one focus. We will help as many animals as we are financially able to. Each monthly donation helps us help animals!
