Update 07/19/25

Hello Elijah’s Angels!

Final Update on This Sweet Family

We wanted to share one last update for those who have been following along with love and support. Elijah was released from the hospital at the beginning of July, and the whole family is now home and doing well. Robby, Riley, and baby Eli are settling into their new routine, and Robby and Riley are overjoyed to finally be home as new parents.

Thank you again to everyone who prayed, donated, and stood by them during this season. It truly takes a village to weather life’s storms, and your prayers, support, and love have meant the world. We are so grateful for each of you!

Update 06/30/25

Hello Elijah’s Angels!

Robby and Riley are incredibly blessed to have such an amazing community surrounding them. Your kindness, prayers, and generous support have been a true lifeline during this challenging season. They are beyond grateful and want you to know they couldn’t have made it through without each and every one of you!

We have some wonderful news to share—Little Eli is making incredible progress! Since our last update, he’s come off all intravenous lines, his feeding tube has been removed, and he’s eating like a champ! Best of all, the doctors have said he may be able to go home soon!

Please continue to keep Robby, Riley, and Eli in your prayers as they prepare to transition home. Your love and support mean the world to them.

With heartfelt gratitude,
The Elijah’s Angels Tribe

Baby Eli Update6/20/25

Sweet Baby Eli is now 16 days old, and our hearts are full of gratitude!

Robby and Riley want to thank each and every one of Elijah’s Angels for the incredible outpouring of support. Your donations, prayers, and words of encouragement have meant more than they could ever express. You are truly walking this journey with them—and they feel your love every single day.

We’re thrilled to share some BIG wins for our little fighter:
  • Three days ago, Eli was held by Mommy for the very first time. After days apart, he melted into her arms and found peace in the sound of her heartbeat again.
  • Two days ago, Daddy got his turn. That skin-to-skin moment was powerful—so much healing happens when Eli is cradled by his parents.
  • And just yesterday, Eli reached a huge milestone: he no longer needs the ventilator and is breathing on his own! Our little warrior keeps proving how strong he is.

We celebrate every breath, every cuddle, every tiny victory. Thank you for standing beside them and for lifting up their family in so many ways.

UPDATE: 06/16/2025
I want to personally thank all the incredible people who donated to this GoFundMe. Because of your generosity, Robby was able to be there for Riley and bond with baby Elijah after his birth. You are true angels, and your kindness has meant more than you could ever know. *see orginal story below*

Our sweet Elijah was born on June 4th. Unfortunately, there were complications during his delivery, and he had to be airlifted to a NICU over an hour away. He is still receiving care there, and we’re not sure yet when he’ll be able to come home.

Robby and Riley have been by Elijah’s side every step of the way, doing everything they can to support and care for him during this difficult time.

As you can imagine, there have been many unexpected expenses—travel, lodging, meals, and more. If you feel moved to donate or continue sharing their story, we are deeply grateful.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, prayers, and support.

Robby and Riley’s family is about to grow—and they couldn’t be more excited! Their baby will be arriving very soon, and they’re preparing for all the big, beautiful changes that come with welcoming a new life into the world.

As many of you know, Robby is a hardworking car mechanic and contractor. He puts in long hours and doesn’t receive paid time off—not for sick days, vacations, or paternity leave. That means when he takes time off, there’s no income coming in as he is the only source of income for their sweet family.

Robby would love to be home for the first week or two after the baby is born—to support Riley during recovery, to bond with his newborn son, and to be there for all the precious first moments as they adjust to life as a family of three.

We’re reaching out to our community of friends and loved ones to ask for support in helping Robby take this important time without the added financial stress. Every contribution—no matter how small—will help cover their basic expenses while Robby steps away from work to focus on what matters most: family.

If you’d rather help in other ways—dropping off a meal, running an errand, or simply sharing this message—we’re equally grateful. It truly takes a village, and we’re so thankful you’re part of theirs!

With love and appreciation,
Yaya (Beth), Grammy (Lacy), and BG (Brandy)
