Hello Family & Friends,
I would like to share with you an exciting ministry opportunity that God has presented to me for this summer. I have prayed and thought about it a lot and have decided to give my summer to God by serving Him on the mission field. I will be joining the High School Ministry at my Church Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale - Boca Raton in 2 separate Mission Trips: From 6/19/2018 - 6/26/2018 to Tierra Bomba - Colombia and from 07/02/18-07/09/18 to Merida and Motul – Mexico
In both Mission Trips we’ll help in a number of different outreaches, such as elderly homes, homeless, and children’s outreaches, as well as street evangelism. In addition, we’ll help serve at our Calvary Chapel partner churches in both locations, visit local Mayan villages to serve and care for their spiritual and physical needs.
While God has opened up a door for me to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the world, the exciting part is that you will be able to share in this compassion in several ways. First, you can help pray for me and my fellow students. We will need prayers that God will prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister to the people of Mexico and Colombia. We will also need prayers that our financial needs will be met. At this time I need to raise $2,800 to attend both Mission Trips ASAP, and that is quite a challenge...
Another way you can be involved is to help provide that financial support. Would you consider supporting me with a donation? A gift of any amount will be a major blessing. Whether you feel led to contribute financially, through prayer, or both, all of your support is appreciated.
