Angelina Reclaim Her Independence

If you’ve ever met Angelina Thomas, you know she doesn’t just cruise through life—she testifies through it. A woman of radiant faith and unwavering purpose, Angelina has faced unimaginable loss, pain, and hardship, yet continues to shine as a beacon of God’s goodness. Today, we have the opportunity to help her rise once again.

A Life Marked by Tragedy—and Grace On April 8, 1990, Angelina’s life changed in an instant. She was struck by a drunk driver while leaning into her car trunk. The accident severed her left leg and left her
hospitalized for four months. But even in the midst of suffering, God’s hand was present—because in that rehab center, she met Andrew, a fellow amputee and counselor who would later become her husband.
They eloped in October 1994 and had their dream Cinderella wedding in April 1995. But heartbreak returned when Andrew passed away on April 8, 2023— Angelina’s birthday, the same day as her original accident. In fact, her mother also passed on her birthday, on April 8,
2016. Three deeply painful losses, all on the day meant to celebrate her life. Just hours after Andrew died, the Lord met her in the
silence. He reminded her of John 21, how Jesus gently restored Peter beside the fire. She knew then: God was not finished with her story.

Then Another Blow: The Loss of Her Mobility Van. As she grieved and prayed—asking God to provide for her home, her healing, and a new van—April 29, 2025 brought another devastating twist. On what would have been her and Andrew’s 30th wedding anniversary, Angelina was in another tragic accident. Her mobility van was totaled, and she sustained injuries that are still under medical and legal review. This van was her link to freedom, community, ministry, and daily necessities. Now, that link is gone. And yet again, Angelina finds herself needing a miracle.

Let’s Rally Around Her Angelina is not just someone who needs help—she is someone who helps others constantly. She has a divine calling straight from Ephesians 4:12—to equip His people for works of service. She is passionate about empowering the Body of Christ, encouraging others to keep going when they feel like giving up. She often says, “I’m like a road sign—you didn’t know you needed me, but I’m here to help direct you back to Him.” Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus to this woman who has done that for so many.

 How You Can Help
We are raising funds to help Angelina:
Replace her wheelchair-accessible mobility van
• Cover ongoing medical & living expenses during her
recovery and widow transition
No gift is too small. Every dollar brings Angelina one step closer to independence, healing, and the ability to return to the work God has called her to do.

 A Living Testimony
Angelina’s story is still being written. Transformed from glory to glory, she continues to shine as a light for others. Now it’s our turn to come alongside her. To lift her up. To say, “You’ve poured into so many, now let us pour into you.” Let’s help her keep going. Let’s help her get back to the purpose she was made for.
Give today. Share her story. And let’s show Angelina that the Body of Christ shows up for its own. Many Blessing to all who answer this prayer.
Thank You Dan M.
