Angeles de la Calle (Angels of the Street)

These past 19 months have certainly been historical, painful, and scaring ones. Globally we have lost over 4.5 million innocent lives, and by now all of us in one way or another affected by COVID and its variants. The Pandemic has brought people together as much as it has torn families and economies apart. We have certainly been blessed beyond measure in the U.S, as the wealthiest nations just as the wealthiest individuals have benefited most from easy monetary policy, increasing asset prices, and a health care system that despite far from perfect has been able to adequately distribute vaccinations to those wanting protection.

Unfortunately the same is not true for many developing and emerging market countries who’s lack of resources, corruption, and inadequate infrastructure has left their constituents magnitudes worst off than pre-pandemic. It is for this reason that I will be traveling to my mother land, Cali Colombia December 20th-27th to share my blessings with those less fortunate, those living below the Colombian poverty line, and those who have not benefitted from working from home, spending less going out and traveling, as well as the comforts of social media and digital entertainment.

My mother has been helping me coordinate the logistics for this charity event as it will require volunteers, police escorting, vendors, and a venue. With the funds raised we will cater meals for over 300 impoverished people, and lighten up the hearts and faces of over 200 impoverished kids with Christmas gifts and clothes. We will be documenting the charity event to later share with the general public.

I will be contributing $1,000 of my personal money to help fund this project and look forward to making projects like these an annual occurrence, I ask that you donate with a caring heart and a sense of gratitude for all that we have. No amount is too little and every dollar will go a long way towards impacting the lives of these families.

** Individuals who donate $100 or more will receive a personal thank you card and a printed photo capturing the impact made on these families and kids.

** Professionals and small businesses willing to make a $500 or greater contribution please feel free to contact me personally, we will be publishing a YouTube video documenting the event and will be including the logos and links to your business in the description and credits.
