Dear friends, family, and community,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the unexpected passing of Angela Saulsberry, beloved mother of my best friend of 20 years, Anjelica Abate. Angela passed away in her sleep while visiting Anjelica and meeting her newborn granddaughter for the first time.

This unimaginable loss has left Anjelica and her family devastated. As an only child, Anjelica was incredibly close with her mother and now faces not only the emotional weight of this loss but also the overwhelming responsibility of handling all logistics—all while caring for a newborn baby.

Angela was a warm, loving, and joyful presence, and her sudden passing has left a profound void. While Anjelica and her husband navigate this new chapter of parenthood alongside this heartbreaking loss, I am hoping we can ease some of the burdens that come with planning memorial arrangements and managing unexpected expenses.

Funds raised will go directly to Anjelica to help with funeral costs, travel, estate matters, and any other needs during this incredibly difficult time.
