On Christmas Eve, my wonderful grandmother Angela Cummings encountered an unexpected disaster. Her house had caught on fire. After over two hours of fighting the flames on the night before Christmas, a ruin emerged. The top half of her home, a home she has inhabited my whole life, was utterly destroyed by the flames, and the bottom completely flooded by the water that was used to stop it from spreading. Now, her historic house is unlivable, and over 30 years of memories are gone.

Today is Christmas, and our family is setting up this GoFundMe for anyone who is moved by the spirit of the holidays and would like to help my grandmother recover from this tragedy. All funds will go towards her and any needs she and her pets will have following this unfortunate holiday season.
