Hello, one and all.

(*drumroll please*) I'm going to Malawi in November! As part of my anesthesia training, I have the opportunity to provide free anesthesia for a group of people with very little access to surgical services in southern Africa. While my program is facilitating the excursion by giving me the time off to go, funding falls entirely on me (hence this little plea for support). Ultimately, I've decided this is worth it to me and I will make the investment it takes to go. If you're willing to chip in a few dollars to help me get across the Atlantic, and to partner with me in providing these services, I would be exceptionally grateful. It's a trip of 9700 miles that will run me about $3000 in airline costs (save the couple credit card miles I have banked to spend) + housing and food.
