Hello friends, family and strangers,
Ever since I was little, I have been drawn to books of all genres, from fantasy to sci-fi. Through education and growth, I realized that not everyone has the same access to books as I do. That’s why, at the age of thirteen, I partnered with a non-profit called the African Library Project to help spread the joy of reading to kids all over Africa. That year, I made a goal for myself. I would try to create sixteen libraries before the age of 16. So far, I have created four libraries in the last four years, with 1000 books in each. To make the other twelve, I need your help.
Right now, I have around eight library books in my garage. To ship books to Africa, we need to raise total of $8,000 to cover the shipping cost. Anything you can donate, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.
There are two simple ways you can help us:
1) Donate money! You can either do this online or send check/cash. Online donation can be made via GoFund. For check / cash donation leave me a message inquiring about how to send checks / cash.
2) Donate gently used or new book or to help package these books, leave me a message.
Thank you for your love, support and encouragement. With your donation and help, hundreds of African kids will receive books to devour, no matter what.
