Andy is the kind of man everyone feels lucky to know — a loyal friend, a gifted songwriter with a voice that moves people, and a father whose heart belongs completely to his daughters. At 43, he’s walked a long, difficult road — but he’s done it with courage, humility, and a quiet strength that inspires everyone around him.

Life hasn’t always been kind to Andy. He’s faced struggles in the past, including battles with addiction and a painful relationship with someone who chose a destructive, criminal path. His ex-wife served time in prison, and since her release several years ago, Andy has been the one raising their daughters — now 13 and 11 — with love, patience, and unwavering dedication.

He’s not perfect. None of us are. But Andy has worked hard to build a life filled with meaning. He’s stayed on a better path, found purpose in his music, and poured his soul into being a steady, safe, and loving father. He works full-time as a tractor mechanic to keep things afloat, often sacrificing his own needs so his girls never have to go without.

Now, his ex — still involved in a life of instability and risk — is seeking custody. There’s been no real healing, no change in her lifestyle, and returning the girls to that environment would mean putting them in harm’s way.

Andy went to court alone, without a lawyer, and was told by the judge that he needs legal representation. But as a single father, already stretched to his limit, hiring a custody attorney is something he simply can’t afford.
