Hi my name is Mauricio Padilla, Esq most people know me as Mo. Like many of you this week I am in mourning. All around us is the feeling of loss. Father, son, brother, friend, life partner...Andy was all those things and those of us blessed enough to have known him are reminded of how fragile life is. In the shadow of his enormous presence we are left with only each other to cope with such an abrupt tragedy. Those of us who knew him, knew how devoted he was to family. Not only his direct family but the extended circle around him whom he loved and treated the same. Andy loved to spend time with his children. He often laughed about being a FUBER (FREE UBER) for his kids. He loved them so much that when you watched him you knew he was born to be a dad. Always present. Always involved.

Andy knew how to love people. He knew how to bring people together and through his knowledge and proficiency in jiujitsu he was able to change many lives. He dedicated countless hours giving free privates to anyone that wanted to learn myself included.

He cherished being with friends and he was always taking pictures. Memorializing the good times and sending videos, pics and his photoshop masterpieces to all of us on a group chat he kept alive with his daily submissions and running commentary.

Andy, we love you, and in the same spirit of family that you helped forge among us we would like to raise funds for your children. We hope that the funds will help with the Fuentes Family during this time of need. We will continue to remember him and honor his name. So give what you can and more importantly reach out to a friend or relative that is missing Andy. Let us be how Andy was and lets help each other through this. Lets move forward, together, greeting each new difficulty with the same smile that Andy greeted us each and every time we met.

All proceeds will be going into a trust account for the children.
