Support Andrew’s fight for survival

At 17 weeks pregnant I started having irregular  contractions, and by 23 weeks I lost my mucus plug. I got transferred via EMS to a hospital an hour and a half away to get a cerclage done to stop my labor but by the time I arrived, I was already 1cm dilated with regular contractions. They gave me steroids and IV medication to stop my labor; which helped… until it didn’t.. I was in the hospital for 6 days and got sent home.. only to have Andrew 4 days later on march 5.
At 11:38am my placenta ruptured in the parking lot while I was arriving to the hospital, and by the time I got wheeled to my room, my water had broken and I was 4cm.
At 12:36pm my son was born and the whole room of over 12 people went silent.. Andrew was born sleeping…
Everyone started encouraging and begging “Andrew breath, come on you can do it.” And while I was lying there apologizing, crying and staring at the clock … 2 and a half minutes passed; and he let out a faint whimper to prove he had made it past the part nobody thought he would.
My son was 24 weeks weighing 1.13 pounds being 12.5 inches long. Andrew was given a 47% chance of survival, and here we are 100 days later and he has undergone a heart catheter PDA closure surgery, that was 4 hours long. 15+ blood transfusions, 4 red blood cell transfusions, and 2 platelet transfusions. 2 broken arms, eye injections; and has been intubated 5 times.. he has been sent to 2 different hospitals in different cities. Andrew has been bagged 4 times and has also stopped breathing. He’s had a total of 5 iv’s in him at one time, in all his limbs and 2 in his head.
His stay originally was in Florence, Sc, but he got transferred to Charleston for his heart surgery , and now he’ll be graduating here in Charleston’s MUSC NICU, so its about 4+ hours total a day to drive to visit which is over 180 miles a day.. as I visit 4 times a week.  His due date was June 20, but the doctor said he will be in NICU another couple of months.              The funds will be used for visit time (gas), and to make sure Andrew gets all the medical help he needs when he comes home , as he will need multiple therapist and different treatments so stay safe at home. Thank you very much
