UPDATE: I want to write a short thank you to everyone. As of recent, I have obtained my Eagle Scout Rank and have completed the project. Please come to the church and view it! Thank you for everything and all the support, love, effort, and donations.
Hello! My name is Drew Labovitz, a Life Scout (Now an Eagle Scout) from Troop 182 in Holden, MA. I am excited to announce my Eagle Project, which is to construct a beautiful labyrinth for St. Mary’s in Jefferson, MA.
So Why This Project?
St. Mary's has been a very supportive and amazing church that has always focused on helping raise faith and helping people over any ideas of personal profit. Such a kind church that has helped so many deserves a project that will help them.
The labyrinth will serve as a space for spiritual reflection and meditation, offering community members an environment where they can come together in contemplation and connection. This thoughtfully designed area will not only promote personal prayer but also hold meaningful interactions among participants.
In addition to its role as a peaceful retreat, the labyrinth will provide a unique setting for the teachings of young CCD classes by adding this sacred space into the curriculum.
St. Mary’s is a very accepting and welcoming place and deserves a project that will help the church that helps so many.
