Andrea's Mission Trip to Haiti

Hi guys! Thank you so much for taking the time to even so much as click on this link. My name is Andrea Besson, I'm 28 years old. I live here in Charlotte and for the past nine months I been trudging this road of new found soberity and faith. My soberity is truly contingent on my relationship with God. I learned early on that my path was going to have to be led by God. He was going to have to lead the way and I was going to have to follow. I was going to have to surrender my way of doing things and have faith that His way is better. Where he has taken me has been beyond what I ever imagined for myself. I thought maybe I would spend a little less time in bar and maybe more Sundays in church; I never thought I'd feel convicted to travel to third world countries. But it has been pointed out to me that Jesus commands us to go, it should be the exception if we stay..... and Haiti is where He would have me go. I am asking for support to go down to Haiti to serve alongside the Im ME organization. Im ME believes in rallying for the orphaned children in the world. I feel called to do my part in helping them end the orphan cycle down in Haiti. Trust me, I never envisioned this for myself but here I am, desperate for the donations, asking you to invest in me so I can go and invest in these children. I will take on the role of helping instill a family structure to these children because Im Me believes that it takes a family to transform a family. (or a village!) I have found that in helping others build their self-esteem, I have built mine, that by empowering others, I feel empowered. I have found that in helping transform someones else life, mine is transformed. I need to raise $2,000 by the end of the year as my trip is funded entirely through donations. I know this is bold, but I believe in a bold God. I believe it is absolutely possible and I trust it will happen. Every penny collected will be going directly to benefit the children of Haiti. As I said earlier, even taking a few minutes to read my story... means a lot to me, I am so excited about this opportunity to serve I just want to tell the world. Any kind of support, prayers for the travel, prayers for my team, prayers for the Im ME ministry, prayers for the orphans in Haiti, is greatly appreciated.
