On 1/1/19,  two beautiful twin girls, Isabel and Sofia, lost their mother, and Mike lost his wife.  Andrea Percy was an amazing woman who loved fiercely and inspired many. Many of you may know her story, or at least parts of it...  She found a lump and was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2018.  It was triple negative, which is rare and can be aggressive.  She had a mastectomy in February, and they thought they got it all.  She was hopeful, positive, and emotionally strong.  In June 2018, she found out it was back.  In her usual ass-kicking way, she chose to fight.  She went through 8 intense rounds of chemo, and we all celebrated when it was done.  We hoped she had beat it.  We were wrong.  In November, she found out it had metastasized to her brain.  Andrea (the warrior that she was), went full-force in to full brain radiation.  On Christmas Eve, she went to the hospital for the final time, and we all thought it was an infection and she would be back home soon.  We were wrong.
While all of this was going on, some parts of her life were falling into place - her and Mike were matched with the most adorable, smart, sassy twin girls in October 2017.  They became the family she had always wanted, and in November 2018, the adoption was finalized. Isabel and Sofia Percy are twin 2-year-old girls who were the light of her life.  Prior to her diagnosis, Andrea and Mike both contributed to the household finances.  With Andrea gone, Mike will be the sole-provider for those girls.  Any help for Andrea's funeral and help for the girls' future expenses would go a long way for this family.  Whether you knew her as Andrea, Dre, or Ange, she has touched so many lives and will never be forgotten.
