Andrea Christopherson's Maternity Fund

Hello everyone! I am Gavin Christopherson, Andrea's husband. As many of you know, Andrea is now out of work and mostly on bed rest due to being high risk and this pregnancy having minor complications, potentially more severe ones also. Many of you may not know, however, that I also was let go from my job and only recently started receiving unemployment. We now only have one income, and that is unemployment, and an entire months worth of unemployment for me is not even enough to pay our entire mortgage, let alone any of other bills.

 

Andrea is going to be out of work until May, and I am currently in the process of finding work. Although once I do, we will still only have one income through May 2022. Andrea and I both are not the type to ask for help, especially when it comes to our financial situation; however, at this point, asking for help is really the only option we have.

 

This money will be going directly to Andrea's checking account (we still have separate checking accounts) and it will be used strictly for bills, i.e., mortgage, electric, car insurance/payment, medical expenses, miscellaneous bills, food, things needed for Elijah, etc. Many of you know our struggle, and this is a really tough and desperate time for us, and we decided it was best for us to reach out to friends and family and ask them to come alongside us and help us keep our heads above water as we bring a literal miracle—our son, and rainbow baby, Elijah James Christopherson—into this world under some very difficult and trying times. He is our miracle after we lost our son, Judah, in January of this year at 17 weeks, with my wife experiencing many other losses prior to Judah. Elijah will be the only one who has made it home in our arms. 

 

We trust, sincerely and completely, that God will always provide our needs, no matter how insurmountable the circumstances seem, there is no mountains too high for God to move. If you are unable to help us financially at this time, don't feel bad, we trust God will work things out somehow so we are able to make ends meet and pay our bills—so, for those who are unable, please keep us frequently in your prayers instead (Momma and Elijah especially).
