Anderson Needs Our Support Now

In addition to being a familiar face around the neighborhood and beloved gardener serving the East Bay for the past two decades , Anderson Williams has been engaged in charitable work gathering supplies and sending shipping containers to his home in Dominica . For years he has been organizing shipments including food staples, baby and child supplies and other everyday items. He has been tirelessly collecting, organizing and arranging distribution in an effort to help those in need back where he is from.

Anderson is a man of integrity and kindness and has been sharing this with us in the East Bay as well as back at home.

Unfortunately recently it became evident that a family member of Anderson's has been scamming money from an account they got ahold of. Due to this unfolding over the past couple of years they drained his savings and cushion and he has no longer been able to organize these aid shipments to Dominica. His elbow has been injured as well, making it difficult to take on the volume of physical work he has been doing for so long. He has not reached out sooner due to the stigma of being taking advantage of, but I'm glad he finally reached out so I could help get him some support.
