Sarah Goes to Anderson Ranch!

Hi there, I’m Sarah House. I make ceramic sculpture inspired by fractals in nature. I’ve dedicated my adult life to the pursuit of my craft through education, art residency programs and workshops.

This year I applied for a Summer workshop at the Anderson Ranch Art Center in Snowmass Village CO.  Their mission is to enrich lives with art, inspiration and community. Learn more about them here

This place looks amazing, sorta like Santa's workshop, probably not so much in the Summer though. 


*Drumroll* I was accepted! AND I was awarded a partial scholarship from Recognition Dinner Fund for $600! It's all very exciting.

That's a lot of moolah, for this lady at least. Since I don't like asking for money, this is an art sale! If you support this workshop, I'll give you a ceramic art object. 


For a $30 donation, you will receive a ceramic pendant like one of these. Please indicate whether you prefer the black/blue or white/blue accent glaze. 
For a $75 you'll get a geometric flower vase like this one, isn't is cute? 
 For a $100 donation you will receive a mystery planter! I’ll be learning some new tricks at Anderson Ranch, and when I return I’ll translate that into a new sculptural planter. Give me 6-10 months to figure it out and get it to you. What will it look like? I don't know!


For $120 donation, you will get one of my shiny new succulent planters, inspired by my most  recent art residency in Chile. It will look like one these. Please let me know whether you want the black/blue or white/blue accent glaze. Or don't and be surprised! 



For a $150 donation, you will get a form from my Elemental Construct series, as featured at The Hammond Regional Arts Center AND the Ogden Museum of Southern Art! Who's a fancy pants art collector? You are! 





They hang easily on a drywall screw, if you are local I'll come install it for you :D 

I'll be traveling to Anderson Ranch with the amazing Chad Robin, who will be taking a wood working workshop. Chad also received a partial scholarship and is raising funds to get the rest of the way there through this Gofundme. He has some gorgeous gifts, check them out !
