Help Chad get to Anderson Ranch!

Donation protected
Hi friends, I'm Chad and for the past 3 years I've been pursing a career in woodworking. I've been developing my skill set and knowledge of materials through pieces like this:

As I learned more complex cutting techniques, my pieces became more geometric:

Then I started combining reclaimed wood/materials with these geometric figures in this piece:

You can see some of my other work at www.totemwoodworks.com

A few months ago, I learned about an artist opportunity for woodworkers at Anderson Ranch, which is a beautiful community for art makers and art enthusiasts. I'm always looking for ways to better my skills, so I applied for a fellowship to one of their Summer Woodworking Courses.

I was so excited to get accepted AND awarded a partial fellowship of $1,000 to the "Experimental Lighting: Form & Design" taught by Andy Buck!

Here's a link to the specific course that I'll be taking

Here's a photo of some of my instructor's (Andy Buck) work:

This is a wonderful opportunity to continue my lovely and exciting quest into lighting, and it's located outside of beautiful Aspen, CO, nestled in the Rocky Mountains.

I'll be driving up with the extremely talented Sarah House; she was also awarded a fellowship and will be raising funds to continue her making these beautiful ceramic pieces, check it out!
