Help Save Young Lives From Mental Health Struggles
Donation protected
My name is Aart van Veldhuizen, and I’ve seen the devastating impact of mental health struggles firsthand. Friends and family have silently suffered—some turned to self-harm, and others, heartbreakingly, struggled with suicidal thoughts. Watching my loved ones break under this burden while feeling powerless to help was one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. This pain drove me to search for real solutions.
That’s when I discovered Lifeboost, a mobile app that has the potential to change lives. Unlike typical wellness apps that focus on people who are already feeling good, Lifeboost is designed to intervene early, providing young adults with the support they need before their struggles become too overwhelming. It offers practical tools to help recognize and manage mental health symptoms before they spiral out of control.
But Lifeboost is still in development, and we need your help to bring it to life. Every euro donated will go directly towards the app’s development, with the goal of making it available to the first users before Christmas. Your support can help us reach those in need at a critical time. Just €20 can provide one person with long-term access to the app, giving them the tools they need to strengthen their mental health.
We can’t afford to wait. Mental health struggles often go unnoticed until it's too late. But together, we can build a community that offers support and hope to those who feel alone in their fight.
If you take the first step, I’ll take the next 49,999—literally. As I run this marathon, I’m carrying the stories and hopes of those struggling. Let’s make sure no one has to fight this battle alone. Donate today, and help Lifeboost save lives.
