Hi my name is Nikki and I live in Thornton Lancashire

i am fundraising to raise the essential funds for the children’s play area on Anchorsholme park in Cleveleys after it was set fire to overnight on the evening of Saturday 27th December 2025

So many local children play in this area and I am so sad and angered to have read about it today Sunday 28th December 2025.

Parents and grandparents turning up to find the devastating scene of burnt out play equipment.

As of yet I don’t have pictures but I’m sure there are some out there that have been taken today.

i moved back to Thornton 6 years ago after living here as a child myself and would like to help my local communities by fundraising to raise as much as we can to remove and replace the burnt out play equipment
