My name is Anastasiia Kolesnyk, and I left Ukraine to move to the U.S. during the full-scale war because my life was at risk. After a long and uncertain wait, I recently received wonderful news: I have been pre-approved to stay in the U.S. for two more years. However, to finalize this approval, there is a time-sensitive fee that must be paid by January 29.
I am fortunate to work full-time and am truly grateful that I can cover part of the cost myself. Still, as a young professional starting out in a new country, this fee is significant for me. A friend suggested I start a small fundraiser to help make this important step a little easier. I am deeply thankful to the U.S. for the safety and opportunities I have already received, and I hope to continue living here, contributing to the community, and being useful and present.
Thank you so much to everyone who chooses to support me—whether through a donation, sharing, or simply caring. Your thoughts and attention mean a great deal to me and are sincerely appreciated.
