An Urgent Plea for My Daughter and Her Children.

Donation protected
Hello and blessings to all our friends.
I write this with a heavy heart.

A few months ago my daughter Kathleen collapsed at the dentist. She was rushed to the hospital. She was diagnosed with a heart problem (similar to the one her late father experienced). This is on top of her serious kidney problems and a diagnosis of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.
She is not allowed to drive for six (6)months. She lives far out in the country.

I'm thousands of miles away and living mostly on disability and whatever hours I can muster for the non-profit I work with. There is very little that I can do from here but pray.

For the last few years, she has been raising her family while fighting her medical conditions and with no support from the father of her children. She had a good job at U of M hospital. In March she was forced to leave that job for medical reasons.

She has been living off her tax return, but it is long gone. She has applied for disability, and cash assistance, and already has food stamps.
However being unable to drive and having no close neighbors, using the food stamps is a real issue.

She has a plan to move in with a friend but this cannot happen immediatly.

I know that these are very difficult times for all of us. Each of you is struggling. I know that even if you can't give, you still care. I KNOW that to be true, you wouldn't be our friends if you didn't care for people.
But if you can give anything at all it will help. She's already way in the red, she just needs a chance to hang on. If you can't help with money, please pray for her and the girls, or send words of encouragement and hope. And if you are in the neighborhood offer her a ride to the grocery store.
I want to take a minute to encourage each of you. I've had a tough life and I can tell you that there is always a way, when there seems to be no way. Always, if you look to God, he WILL make a way. For my atheist friends, the same thing, if you don't want to give God credit, fine just don't you ever give up!

Miracles happen every day. You can be one to somebody. Be one for Kathleen and the girls if you can. One day someone will be a miracle to you. We pay forward, all of us.

Thank you for reading this.
