To Dear Members of North California Oromo Community and the Oromo Nation at Large.

We would like to bring to your attention an Oromo family currently living in Davis who needs our support. We are not mentioning their names because of personal and security reasons, but the family is in a desperate situation. They have two boys aged 5 and 2 years old. The husband graduated from Ambo University and worked as a graduate assistant at Samara University. He also studied for his Master of Botanical Sciences (Plant Biotechnology) and graduated from Jimma University. Upon graduation, he joined the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research Institute (EIAR), and served as an associate Researcher in the department of Plant Biotechnology. He came to the United States to study for his Ph.D. at the University of California, Davis. His family (wife and two boys) joined him recently and is now in need of our support and help. He needs support towards housing and settlement.
