Help a Native Woman Find Safety After Stalking

I'm organizing this fundraiser on behalf of an Indigenous woman, loved one and Bay Area queer femme artist and community worker who has been forced out of her apartment after being stalked by a white male neighbor. This is the second time she has been displaced by targeted racist attacks in the COVID pandemic alone.

Native Women in the so-called U.S. and Canada are disproportionately susceptible to gendered violence, and our community member is already a trauma survivor with PTSD, making this experience especially re-traumatizing. Please help us find safe housing for her and her senior dog.

Moving is an incredibly expensive venture, especially in urban centers like San Francisco which often require exorbitant move-in fees. We are raising money for:
  • Security deposit
  • First & last month's rent
  • Pet deposit
  • Movers
Anything helps!

Thank you so much for reading.
