We are Ken and Abby and we are the parents of an amazing autistic 12 year old child named Solo. Like so many parents, I worry about what the future holds for my child as he grows older. After seeing how long the waitlists are for services, I realized that Solo—and so many others like him—deserve better. That’s why I’m working to create an adult day program where Solo and other autistic individuals can find community, support, and purpose without waiting years for help.

Launching this program is a big step, but it’s one I know will make a real difference. The funds raised will go directly toward six months’ rent for our space, office furniture to make it welcoming and functional, a van to help with transportation, and hiring two dedicated employees who share our vision. Every dollar will help us open our doors and start serving those who need it most.
