An Exciting Opportunity for Charity!
Hi everyone,
My name is Olivia Gear and I’m so proud to be representing Dublin West in the 77th Miss Ireland Final as part of the Miss Ireland 2025 competition. It’s an honour beyond words to now hold the title of Miss Dublin West and to use this platform to shine a light on something that means the world to me.
As part of Miss Ireland’s Beauty With a Purpose Project , I am raising funds in aid of two incredible Irish charities:
➡️ Dyslexia Ireland
➡️ Enable Ireland
Together with my Father Martin and sponsor for Miss Ireland, Martin Gear Jewellers on 5 Mary Street, Dublin 1, We are hosting
a very exciting Fundraising Competition. Martin is very generously offering a beautiful piece of jewellery to the lucky winner. All you have to do is enter our competition and kindly make a donation to my chosen charities to be in with a chance to win this exciting prize.
These charities do phenomenal work to support individuals with learning disabilities and physical challenges, and this campaign is deeply personal to me. I want to help break the stigma, raise awareness, and make sure that everyone—regardless of ability—has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
I know what it feels like to dream big and wonder if those dreams are possible. Today, I’m living that dream—representing my beloved Dublin in a national competition, and using my voice for something greater than myself.
Now, I want to help others believe in their potential too.
This fundraiser will support critical services that help individuals of all ages overcome barriers, access education, therapies, and live full, empowered lives.
Dyslexia Ireland works with and for people affected by dyslexia. They empower individuals by:
• Providing information and education
• Offering support services, assessments, and specialist tuition
• Advocating for inclusive education and public awareness
Their vision is a society where individuals with dyslexia are fully supported and can thrive in all aspects of life.
Enable Ireland provides services for over 13,000 children and adults with physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities across Ireland. Their support spans:
• Early intervention
• Therapy and rehabilitation
• Assistive technology and education
• Inclusive community services
They believe in a society where everyone is included, respected, and given every opportunity to succeed.
Every donation—big or small—makes a difference. Your support will directly help fund these organisations’ life-changing programs and advocacy work.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of this journey with me. I believe together we can make a real impact and prove that beauty with a purpose is powerful, meaningful, and unstoppable.
With love and gratitude,
Olivia Gear
