An African Dream - From Broadford to Zambia
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
This July, four of us friends, Aoife V, Moya Marsh McMahon, Apryl O'Regan and Aoife B hope to travel to Livingstone in Zambia to participate in a 2 week volunteering programme.
We will be volunteering with the non-profit making organisation Dream Livingstone. It was created to help the Livingstone community to become a better place to live, through the support of education, as well as relieving the effects of poverty. The project aims to help the community become more self-reliant as well as supporting vulnerable children in schools. It is our aim that with your help, this community can facilitate and sustain income generating projects.
Aoife Vaughan will be providing medical care in an area where healthcare is neither easily accessible or affordable.
Aoife Boland and Moya will be providing educational support in Dream Elementary School. Apryl will be based in a local kindergarten. Individual attention and a focus on early development and education are considered crucial to breaking the cycle of poverty. The help of international volunteers is vital to ensuring it happens.
All donations will go towards supporting sustainability in Livingstone.
We appreciate any contribution, big or small!
Go raibh míle maith agaibh!
Aoife, Apryl, Moya and Aoife.
