Amy’s Jump for charity

So this year I’ve decided to raise some money for a charity that is close to my heart, I’m doing this because from a young age I was one of the many children in the uk that was looked after, since turning 18 I am under no legal guardianship of anyone however I will forever be in debt to my “foster” family for the way they have treated me and changed my life in the most amazing way. I was extremely lucky to be placed in such a loving home where they treated me as one of their own and raised me that way. However I am fully aware there are many children out there who haven’t been as lucky as me and still need help so this is why I have decided to pick The Fostering Network, not only are they the UK’s leading fostering charity, they work to ensure all fostered children and young people can experience a stable family life which to me shouldn’t be a privilege but unfortunately is, this is why I’ve decided for my 21st birthday this year I will be doing a skydive from 10,000 feet in hopes that I can raise money for a cause that really is super important to me! ♥️ Below I’ve attached a letter I wrote when I was younger, I think it’s important to realise how much of an impact having a safe and stable family home to live in really makes, you can see it certainly made an impact for 8 year old me. Please donate if you can or if you want to, the link is below . Anything would be appreciated and will be going to The Fostering Network so they can continue to help those who foster transform children’s lives! .
