Amy's Fundraiser in memory of William
In 2013 my little brother, William, was diagnosed with a rare form of brain tumour, Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma with a life expectancy of 9 months. At the time only 40 people a year was diagnosed with this. In August the following year, my family experienced the biggest heartbreak when my brother was taken from us at the age of 6. This August, 10 years later, I am running my first ever half marathon to raise money for Yorkshire Brain Tumour Charity to help provide more research into Brain tumours to try and reduce other families having to experience what my family and I have been through.
