My name is Amy. My brother Parker and I are raising money for our mom, Gay W. My dad passed away 28 years ago, when I was 12 and my brother was 7. My mother raised us selflessly by herself. She has always been so generous and would give the people she loves the shirt off her back. She has lived in her current home for 47 years. She has had so much bad luck this year. There has been severe flooding in her basement, and now the septic tank is broken. We have been working for weeks downstairs, but we still have to take the wood paneling and drywall down in the basement to prevent mold from spreading. Her air conditioner is broken, and now there is a pipe from her septic tank that needs to be fixed. Because of the septic tank issue, she can no longer flush the toilets, therefore cannot currently live in her house. She is a very private person, so I debated on doing this, but I feel as if we don’t have many options at this point. We have a huge undertaking ahead of us, but anything will help :)
