Help a Local Family of 6 Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

Hi, my name is Jess, Cams sister and aunty to the children

On Tuesday, August 20, a devastating house fire completely destroyed the rental home of our dear friends Amy, Cam, and their five children. They lost everything — all of their belongings gone in an instant.

Miraculously, their son Lachlan was inside when the fire started and managed to escape with only smoke inhalation and 3rd degree burns to his foot and minor burns to his face and hands. We are so grateful he's safe, but the emotional and physical toll this has taken on the entire family is unimaginable.

Many wonderful families in our community have stepped up to help with clothes and essentials for the younger children — and we are so thankful for that. Now, we’re asking for help to replace the big-ticket items they’ll need to start over: things like furniture, 5 beds, fridge washer dryer kitchen appliances and more.
