The Amputee Coalition of America’s mission is to reach out to and empower people affected by limb loss to achieve their full potential through education, support and advocacy, and to promote limb loss prevention.

The non-profit works to ensure that no one who experiences amputation or limb difference feels alone through their recovery and readjustment, and helps people with limb loss/limb difference and their family/ caregivers to be independent and live the life they want to live.
