Strengthen Israel's Voice: Help Barak reach NOVA Exhibition
Donation protected
Hello⚡ I'm Barak ("lightning" in Hebrew) and I go by OtherBarak on YouTube and Instagram. I am an American-Israeli activist who moved to Israel alone combatting antisemitism online and in-person.
I'm raising $3800 to travel to Nova Exhibition in Los Angeles early September to spread awareness with my platform and support the families and those affected by the atrocities of October 7th. Personally, I lost a good friend - Daniel Sheinkerman, RIP (his picture is behind me above at the Nova festival site in Israel) - and I have been trying to do what I can to support survivors, families of hostages and use my platform to share their stories.
At the exhibition, there is a timeline telling the story of that dreadful day, including many of the remains salvaged from the festival grounds - scorched cards, bullet-riddled bathroom stalls, and personal belongings all left behind. Some Nova survivors will be attending as witnesses to what happened that day and I want to help amplify as many voices and stories as possible for more people across the world.
The $3800 will be used for:
- Flights
- Hotels
- Food
- Transportation
Please consider contributing. I really appreciate every bit of help.
(prices reflect how soon this trip would be).
In response to rising antisemitism post-October 7th, my YouTube channel has become the fastest-growing solo channel in the Middle East, surpassing 25,000 subscribers in 6 months. My platform tackles media bias and promotes transparent discussions, uniting communities with unfiltered knowledge and helping people navigate the complexities of the Middle East.
