Hello, my name is Syrine, and I am fundraising for my husband , Makram, who has been suddenly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with FLT3 mutation, one of the most aggressive forms of blood cancer.

Only a few weeks ago, he was in good health, and today he is fighting for his life. He is currently hospitalized at Grand River Cancer Centre in Kitchener, Ontario, receiving intensive chemotherapy and targeted treatment. He has already had serious complications including severe infection, high fever, and admission to the ICU.

This journey is overwhelming emotionally, physically, and financially. We urgently need support to survive this critical period and cover basic living costs and transportation while I remain at the hospital with him.
