2022 Boston Dyke March Sound & Equipment

Hello Dearest Boston Dyke March Community,

 

First and foremost, we hope you're excited for the full Boston Dyke March to return June 10th, 2022! Thank you to everyone who came to our Dyke Fest last October: being with you all on the Common was a soul-healing boost we desperately needed.

 

Unfortunately, despite everything, we are still struggling in a capitalist hellscape and things continue to cost money. Due to the pandemic we were unable to hold fundraising events and had to rely entirely on community donations. We had hoped to collect enough to pay for the cost of the Dyke Fest and have a little left over for the 2022 March. Sadly, despite the many kind and generous donations, we did not fully cover the cost of Dyke Fest and were forced to dip into our reserves instead of adding funds for 2022.

 

We need your help! Because of COVID-19, inflation, etc., our vendors are raising prices across the board. Some of our biggest costs—the stage, sound and lighting—are a big piece of making the event accessible. With your assistance we can cover one of these costs for 2022!
