Saving American Legion Post #100

Donation protected
My name is Jim Talaska and I am the current Commander of American Legion Post #100 in Washington, IL.
I am appealing to everyone to consider giving a donation to the Legion so we can make much needed repairs. There are many things at the Legion that are in need of repair and currently we just don’t have the funds to do it. The roof needs to be replaced as well as the floor in the bar and the beer coolers. Some of the wall panels in the hall which were damaged due to the leaking roof.
The Legion has been part of the community for many many years. They have sponsored Easter Egg hunts, scholarships to local high schools as well as sponsoring little league teams etc.
When the devastating tornado touched down in Washington the post was there, open to the community as well as Team Rubicon to house and feed them so they can go out in the community and help where needed.
I am asking that individuals, companies, other Legion and Veterans Organizations consider donating to our cause help us repair so we can remain a part of the community for generations to come. And all your donations are also tax deductible thanks for your time and consideration.
