American Legion Post 54 Building Repair

Donation protected
The Amarillo Texas American Legion Post 54 is looking to start it's second 100 years of  community service by returning it's building condition to its rightful condition.

We have participated and run most the Legion programs over time and have included flag education; Boys and Girls state teaching government processes; Legion Baseball teaching sportsmanship; oratorical teaching citizenship; as well as direct support to veterans and providing honors and color guards to the community.

Much of those 100 years of community has been from our 7th street location since probably the 1930s . To continue our support to the community we need to refurbish the building that serves as the focal point of these programs. While some minor work has been taken care of internally, major items such as repairing the roof, HVAC and some structural work require major assistance to perform. So we are asking for your assistance to refurbish our Post building so as to allow continued program development and expansions.  Money is primarily directed for repair and refinishing the roof, making the bathrooms ADA compliant and completing HVAC repairs to make the system more efficient to save future money.

Post 54 is a 501(c)19 charitable veterans organization.  If you'd like a letter recognizing your donation please contact us and we will arrange it
