American Legion Post 36 - Block Island "Spruce Up"

This is a small limited time fundraiser to raise funds to upgrade and improve the landscaping and appearance around the exterior of the American Legion Post 36 building on Block Island. The work will commence and be completed before the summer season kicks into high gear. A local Landscape Contractor has offered to supply the labor at little to no cost, so the raised funds will mostly go towards material. The plan involves removing the old shrubbery, replacing it with new shrubs and other plantings, edging and mulching. The steps will be painted and new signage next to the two entry ways.
