As part of my IB CAS Project I am raising money for the American Diabetes Association by selling awareness bracelets. Bracelets are three dollars each, but feel free to donate as much as you would like!

Proceeds will be donated to the American Diabetes Association which funds research and supports people with diabetes. Diabetes is a disease without a cure that affects millions of people worldwide. Diabetes awareness is a cause personal to me as my mom has type 1 diabetes. Type 1 diabetics specifically, do not make any/enough insulin as the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys insulin-producing cells opposed to type 2 diabetes where the body makes insulin but cannot use it effectively.
