A Legacy of Love, Loss, and Hope

This is Amelia Rose.

She’s not even two years old and has already experienced more loss than most do in a lifetime.

Amelia is the granddaughter of my sister, Amber Rose, who died by suicide in 2013. On June 8th, 2025, Amelia lost her father to suicide as well. He was only 24 years old. She had one Father’s Day with him.

The next day after Father's Day in 2025, she attended his funeral, holding a flower in her tiny hands. A symbol of innocence in a moment far too heavy for someone so young.

Amelia will grow up without her father.

Without her grandmother.

But she will not grow up without love.

This GoFundMe is a commitment to her future, a seed of hope planted in honor of two lives lost far too soon. The funds raised will go toward Amelia’s educational needs and well-being as she grows up in the care of our family.
