Just an update on this we got the money together for both their eye gaze Machine and are both using them so thankyou to all who donated. I am keeping this active for transparency so people can see what has been achieved.

Both of my daughter’s Amelia and Ruby have a rare genetic disorder called Rett Syndrome.

This disorder affects babies and children in various ways with different degrees of severity. One of the skills they may not gain, or may lose is their ability to communicate, which is commonly know as apraxia.

One of mine and Pete’s (my husband) wishes are for Amelia and Ruby to have the opportunity to communicate with us, so they may speak for themselves and be as independent as they possibly can.

An eye gaze is a high tech piece of software based on tablet technology which enables them to communicate by using their eyes to move a cursor on a screen.

We need two of them which amounts to a large sum of money. In our current financial position, fundraising is the only way we can raise the funds needed to buy them.
