More information about Sunbeam Family Services Inc.: Our mission is to provide people of all ages with help, hope and the opportunity to succeed through Early Childhood, Foster Care, Counseling and Senior Services. Sunbeam Family Services has an outstanding history of serving vulnerable individuals, families and seniors through an array of social service programs. Founded in 1907, Sunbeam is Oklahoma City’s longest serving social service agency, originally founded to serve as a children’s home for dependent and neglected children. Over the decades, the organization’s programs have evolved to meet the growing needs of Oklahoma’s vulnerable children, individuals, families and seniors through (1) a robust early childhood education program, (2) our long standing foster care program, (3) our sliding scale counseling program, and (4) our multifaceted senior services program which includes the state’s only emergency residential senior shelter.
