Ambition Nepal 2024

Hey everyone!! Myself along with 12 other amazing individuals will be heading to Nepal in March to volunteer at the Heaven Hill Academy.

The school was started by Shamser Thapa who was fed up with the way schools were being run in Nepal. Shamser and his team now have 4 campuses and provide free education to over 400 kids! They receive no government financial support to run the schools and rely solely on individuals and ordinations around the world for donations.

During our time at the school we have some big plans! The main focus will be on the New Marigold Campus. We plan to reinstall a roof on all 7 classrooms so that students have a dry place to learn specially during wet season, provide a off-grid solar energy system to reduce the power outages that sometimes last days, and lastly we want to take sometime to teach CPR and sexual education.

To achieve all this we will need money. I have a goal of $1500 as does the rest of my team. This should cover our main projects and anything extra will be used to provide the basic school supplies, uniforms etc.
