Hello, my name is Amber & I’m humbly looking for donations for my children & myself. I unexpectedly lost my father, my rock on 11/5/25 just a few days after returning to work for being on caretakers leave for my ill mother. Less than a month later, my beautiful mother passed away on 11/29/25 after fighting a long & courageous battle with cancer. After my father passed, it was just too much for her. They were married for 51 years! My parents were the most selfless, loving, & giving people that I’ve ever known. They would give their last dollar to a stranger in need, even if they didn’t have it to give. I am asking for donations to help pay for the property taxes on the house they worked so hard for, electric, gas, water, their car payment, cat & dog food as they were a lover of all animals & have many, along with all of my own bills. Even though they had life insurance & myself & their lawyer knew their end of life wishes, the will was never signed. Unfortunately, even though dad made sure I knew where everything was (insurance policies, banking info, etc..) everything will have to go through probate court which will take months & I don’t have months. I don’t want to lose everything they’ve worked so hard for their entire lives. I’ve been on FMLA as I was my mother’s caretaker, which is unpaid. I’ve been so exhausted with trying to grieve the loss of my dad, then my mom, and trying to figure out funeral arrangements, writing obituaries, picking the perfect songs & pictures & writing words to sum up how amazing they were… for not just one, but both funerals, that I have forgotten to call into work a night or two & will likely lose my job. My parents taught me to never lose faith, that even in the darkest of days, God will always provide. I believe that wholeheartedly. Still, we are struggling emotionally, physically, & financially. Not only did I lose my parents & best friends but my children lost their grandparents & best friends as well; as we were about as close as a family could be. I understand Christmas is right around the corner & money is tight for everyone, esp in this economy. Not being able to donate is absolutely understandable but if you could, please just say a prayer for us as we navigate through the most difficult time of our lives. Thank you & God Bless.
