Amber's Angels: A Helping Fund
Donation protected
If you know Amber Foster, you know what a radiant beam of light she is. Sadly, this week, that light went up to the stars and 3 beautiful children unexpectantly lost their mother way too young. Of all the stars in the galaxy and dogs in the world, Vega, Amber's doggy, was by her side in the end. Yvonne, Amber's mother, has endured the most challenging trauma a mom could ever imagine. No mother imagines losing their child before they grow old.
Everyone has asked, what can I do? What can we do for Amber's children? We thought we could work together to create a fund for Charlie, Piper, and Paige for whatever they may need: school supplies, therapy, or anything they may need for their life beyond high school. All donations will go to the kids' account in a trust held by their grandmother, Yvonne.
If you know Amber through school, socializing, or sitting in her barber chair, you may know her children were her whole world. She did EVERY SINGLE THING to support them and make sure they had a roof over their head, and always made sure they knew they have a mother who loved them beyond the moon.
As Amber said, these souls are "The pieces of my heart that walk outside my body… a precious gift to be their mom and the opportunity to witness their growth and becoming the rad and loving young people they are."
Amber would never ask us for help like this. She lived every day selflessly, supporting others in any way she could. Her heart is SO big, that she made space for everyone and would drop anything to help another. Times would be so crappy for her, yet she still found the positive and the light in whatever it was.
As heartbreaking as this moment is, she would want us to channel our energy into each other to tell stories, sit in nature, and laugh together. Oh, her laugh! She is so silly and ALWAYS fun to be around. That woman has the strongest hugs in the whole world. Let's channel her energy and ours to be present in the beauty around us. Talk about Amber and laugh, put your toes in the sand and look up at the stars, and SMILE.
