Amber Buskirk-Christmas Cheer

The Grinch stole Christmas!

It might have well have been the Grinch,  because sometime between 6:30-8pm on December 17th Amber Buskirk's car was stolen from the Clackamas Town Center parking lot.  There were Christmas presents for her three children hidden away out of sight in the vehicle while Amber wrapped up her Christmas shopping inside Clackamas TC.  Imagine coming out of the mall late at night after a long day of shopping to discover your car is nowhere to be found!  The confusion, the sadness, the anger that someone could be so heartless, and at Christmastime! Aside from Christmas purchases, other personal items such as booster seats and back up medications for her son were in the vehicle.

Amber lives up the mountain in Rhododendron, so being without a car is just not an option. Having to get to work, appointments, even the grocery store is impossible without a car.

Amber is a single mom with three young kids.  Her oldest has some special needs where he has several doctors appointments per month.

At this point, a week before Christmas, we are just trying to rally the community to support Amber and her kids and help them have the Christmas they deserve.  I would like to raise funds to replace Christmas gifts and any additional donations are gladly accepted to be used toward transportation costs until she can figure out what to do about her car if it is not found soon or not found in good condition.

Please help restore the Christmas spirit for the Buskirk family.
