Hi Everyone! My name is Samantha and I am here today to try and help support my sister in being around for her boys till they grow old and provide her a better quality of life. Amanda has now been fighting stage 4 metastatic breast cancer since 2020. Lately it has appeared that the cancer is starting to take the lead with growing tumors and a malignant pleural effusion, but I'm hopeful that with the help of FUNCTIONAL CARE and CONVENTIONAL CARE we can help her get back in the lead and get her on her way to beating Cancer. At the beginning of her stage 4 diagnosis she was on Kisqali which worked great for her cancer but it was killing her liver, she tried another that was helping but it was killing her lungs, and now we are on to try another one! We are praying every day that her body reacts well to this third one she's about to try. She is also about to get an indwelling pleural catheter so she can drain the fluid at home which we also hope helps the fluid stop coming. She is struggling a lot to do daily tasks and mainly take care of Aaron because of his needs. We all need her to get strong and feel better so here is my goal for her:
I want Amanda to be able to successfully get back onto an oral chemo while combating the side effects with functional/holistic care. As many of you may know, functional care is not covered by insurance. She was able to go to them today with a lot of hopeful answers and a plan to strengthen her immune system, cell levels, and liver. The cost for her to be able to get started is $6,500 and it will go up from there the more she has to go. To a single mom of twins who has stage 4 cancer and not a lot of energy to work more this is a major burden. The only option is to DO IT. I'm asking that if you are touched by my sister's story that you would help her by donating. If you can't donate I would please ask that you join us in praying for a miracle, because MIRACLES still exist.
My sister is my best friend and I hope you too see how special her life is and try to help!

Amanda:
I’ve been incredibly overwhelmed so haven’t replied to everyone whose reached out but please know I appreciate each one
The fluid has already come back into my lungs (in just a few days) so I will be having an indwelling pleural catheter placed early Monday to prayerfully alleviate my breathing challenges and gagging permanently. Not the direction I wanted this to go but staying hopeful this is temporary.
Thank you for the continued love & support.
