Amanda & Andrew start a family!

Hi, my name is Rachel and I am fundraising for my sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Andrew. Most of you are probably familiar with their story and the hardships they have faced these last several years. In 2015, Amanda was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Over these last 8 years, Amanda has been through countless rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and 3 bone marrow transplants. All of this treatment has unfortunately taken away the chance for Amanda and Andrew to conceive naturally.

Amanda has fought tirelessly not only through her cancer treatment but also through all of the horrendous side effects she's experienced over the years. Andrew has been by her side loving and supporting her all the way through. They finally tied the knot in May of 2022 and are ready to grow their family. The process to get an egg donor and a surrogate is quite expensive. Amanda and Andrew are passionate about being parents and have been saving every penny they can to put toward that dream, but the cost is overwhelming.
